Terms & Conditions
Before confirming your order with Frances & Rae Bakehouse please read the below Terms and Conditions. Payment of your booking deposit confirms your agreement with our Terms and Conditions.
1. Deposits & Payments

The date of the event is considered “booked” upon receipt of a non-refundable deposit of £100. Your date is not secured until the deposit has been paid. The final payment is due in full one calendar month before the event.. Orders booked 30 days or less before the event, full payment is required upon ordering. Failure to complete payment 4 weeks before the delivery date may result in your order being cancelled and any outstanding balance will still be payable. By making a payment you are accepting the Terms and Conditions as detailed on this page.

2. Quotations
​
All final quotes are valid for 30 days, after which Frances & Rae Bakehouse reserve the right to revise prices.
3. Liability
​
Frances & Rae Bakehouse is not responsible for bodily injury, property or consequential damage, which may result from services. Frances & Rae Bakehouse is not responsible for any damage to the cake or shortage of cake caused by anyone NOT employed by Frances & Rae Bakehouse. Frances & Rae Bakehouse will not deliver a cake if payments have not been paid in full.

4. Cancellations
​
All cancellations must be made in writing. If for any reason you need to cancel your booking, the booking deposit is non-refundable. If the postponement occurs less than 30 days prior to the event, the full payment including the deposit is non-refundable.

5. Postponements
​
Should you need to postpone your wedding, the request must be made via email.. A £10 postponement admin fee may apply. Frances & Rae Bakehouse will check availability for the new date and if the date is available, the deposit payment will be transferred to the new date. Should Frances & Rae Bakes be unavailable for the postponed Wedding date, our cancellation policy applies. Postponements are available up until 30 days before the scheduled event date, after this, dates are non-transferable and final balances for the original dates require payment.

6. Allergy & Dietary Warnings
​
We cannot guarantee that any of our products do not contain ingredients or substances that could cause an allergic reaction. You are responsible for advising your guests of potential traces of allergens. We will not accept any liability for any loss, damage or injury from exposure to anything which might cause an allergic reaction. This may include, but without limitation, nuts, nut products, alcohol, dairy, wheat, sulphates or colouring.

7. Non edible Ingredients & Decorations
​
Some decorations are inedible (fresh flowers, support dowels, wires, ribbons, boards, flower tape etc). These elements will be detailed on the delivery note and must be removed before serving. It is the clients responsibility to advise the caterer and/or guests of these elements. We will not accept any liability for any loss, damage or injury from any exposure to items to these items.

A dietary list of ingredients can be provided to you if required. This must be requested a minimum of 4 weeks before your event. If a venue requires a list of ingredients this is to be requested by the customer and not the venue.​

8. Delivery and Set Up
​
There is a delivery fee of 0.50p per mile. Mileage is calculated from NE2 1HR to your venue and is based on a round trip. Frances & Rae Bakehouse is not responsible for delays if the venue is changed within 48 hours of the event. Should the cake be collected, the Client is responsible for providing a suitable environment for the cake (away from heaters, vibrations, suitable surface, suitable outdoor setting).

9. Photographs
​
Frances & Rae Bakehouse reserves the right to use all photographs of the cake for advertising purposes. We do not post images of orders until after the event has taken place. Any image incorporating an order posted on the internet or social media must make reference to or credit Frances & Rae Bakes.
